Greetings from the (this year) HOT Lithuania.

Today we have reached a winter peak in +10 degrees, unbelievable in this area of the world. Two years ago I was working in Poland and we had only 2 weeks below -5. Also a really good winter. However I do not believe that this is due to global warming, I do not deny this fact but would like to contrast with some data.
At the beginning of november the temperatured collapsed to -14, also too cold for those dates. Last year this eastern europe area experienced one of the coldest winters with many countries reaching temperatures below -30 (sadly many people died because of that).
I am not going to support my OPINION with any scientific paper (I am now too lazy to start a search) but would say that this is more due to a “crazy” climate than to global warming.
Regardless of what researches may find out I think many people would agree that now we do not have defined seasons as before, we may have both good and bad weather at any time and that influences the temperatures in both directions. The overall trend may be (and I believe it really is) increasing temperatures, but the changes we experience are more related to other kind of climatic changes than to a irreversible global warming due to human factors.
